In 2015 Deasonbuilt modified the single center pole design. Instead of utilizing the “four point” suspension hanger for the Gondola cabin, we simplified the attachment. This makes the carrier easier to take on and off and it provides more head room for the loader/unloader. Pictured here is the hanging of the test/prototype. The model was fully hot dipped galvanized. Deasonbuilt manufactured 20 units for Whistler’s Creekside gondola and they were put into service in early August 2015. In 2019 they ordered an additional 6 gondola bike carriers bringing the total to 26 units.
